The environmental management of the production unit - GAS (Gestão Ambiental Socer) is based on ISO 1400 international standard and implemented actions which aim at minimizing environmental impacts and environmental education of our employees and our community, through the following actions:

• Constant monitoring of the effluents treatment station for their liquid emissions.

• Constant technical evaluation of the company providing services in the operation of the industrial treatment unit.

• Program to control disposable materials with due identification, segregation, destination control and retention of pertinent documentation.

• Use of natural gas, an environmentally safe source of energy.

• Environmental education program to employees.

• Recycling program dedicated to the community.
